Our Story

Ginkgo Cattle Co. was started in April 2021 by Taylor and Shelby Flynn, along with our 4 children. Our dream started shortly after purchasing Shelby’s families 4th generation farm in rural Washington County in south eastern Iowa. Taylor had the practical idea of cattle and Shelby had the somewhat wild idea of Highland cattle, together we created Ginkgo Cattle Co! We have spent countless hours and miles traveling the United States hand picking our Dams and Sires making sure that are able to provide the best temperaments, genetics and quality to our future buyers and their families. We offer mid-miniature, miniature and micro-miniature sized Highlands, HighParks, and HighBelt Cattle. we strive for dam raised but socialized around children and humans. registrations we are proud to be a part of are ahca, hhca, and imcbr.
